How to Pierce Through a Kevlar?

If a hamster is protected by a titanium ball with reinforced Kevlar(special material which makes bulletproof jackets) , how do you devise a method to go through it? Its a question which is of great importance to my dear friend who is afraid that my shelty will harm the poor hamster.
